Installing a swimming pool takes a lot of work, but the finished product is a work of

art.  To make it easy for you to visualize the process, we have broken it down into 19

steps.  We welcome you to contact us at any time with questions you may have about

pool construction and maintenance.

Step 1: Your yard - Before we can begin to design you a pool we must first come out and

evaluate your yard. This includes measuring the property lines, trees, grades, patios, house,

overhead power lines etc. Most likely your yard is unique and by getting these measurements

we can begin to design you the pool of your dreams. At this point the representative will ask

you some basic questions about shapes, features and may point out some ideas that would

work well with your yard. A copy of your plot plan will be very helpful in locating any public utility

easements that may effect the way the pool lays in the yard.

Step 2: Revisit - After we design your pool we will come back out and present what we have

designed. We will go over in detail and answer any questions you have at that point. At this

time we will discover if we need to redesign the pool or maybe just change a few areas, or

maybe you like the plan just as it is.

Step 3: Contract - If Fossil Creek Pools has been successful at designing your dream pool

and meeting all the criteria associated with it then it is up to you to proceed. We will have a

detailed agreement in case you do. If you need more time we will leave you with a detailed

plan showing all the features, measurements, equipment, etc. This is a helpful tool when

comparing other bids. We want you to know exactly what we have included in our price so that

if comparing you are equipped to make a wise decision for your family. We have several

finance options available to you just ask the representative for forms if needed. We will also

leave you with a plan for your homeowners association if needed.

After an agreement is reached we will begin the construction process

Step 4: Preparing the Site - Before we begin digging, we will mark the area where your new

pool or spa will eventually sit. The layout is based on your custom design and upon approval of

the building permits, we will begin digging.

Step 5: Excavation - Now it is time to dig.  Most pools take anywhere from 3 -5 days to

complete the excavation of your pool and remove the soil from your yard.  If you would like any

of the soil from the pool please let us know in advance so we can plan accordingly.
